Phattie Hybrid Kit, Black Glass over Starglow Acrylic

Today’s kit is a sharp looking set of Phattie Hybrids.  StarGlow acrylic centers combined with our LED lighting provide for an awesome effect against the black glass glitter and black hardware.  The sizes on this custom setup include 8″x8″, 10″x8″, and 12″x8″ rack toms, 14″x14″ and 18″x16″ floor toms and a thumping 22″x20″ bass drum.  Pearl Optimounts were used on the rack toms, and custom machined to fit Yamaha tom brackets that were powder coated black to match.   Other custom touches include a full DMX controller with built-in light board, black Gauger Alloy RIMS cradles, a deep-dish front bass hoop, and Phattie Custom Shop badges placed discreetly so they don’t interfere with the light show.  Smooth kit that looks killer when the lights go down, check it out:

Phattie 13″x7″ Stave Maple Snare Drum

Stave shells deliver great sensitivity combined with powerful projection that doesn’t choke at higher volumes. This 13″x7″ maple stave is 1/2″ thick and delivers on both accounts. Featuring our custom Puzzle glass glitter, blue powder coated hardware, and a custom laser engraved puzzle badge, it’s another true one-of-a-kind. Check it out:

Acid Etched Copper over a maple core

The 14″x7″ 10-Ply Phattie is the workhorse snare in the Phattie lineup.  The shell thickness and depth combined with the Phattie bearing edge give it a wide tuning range, and the extra wide and smooth snare beds give it a ton of sensitivity at any dynamic range.  This workhorse is laminated with a thin layer of acid etched copper for a true one-of-a-kind look and features a custom laser engraved wood badge.  Another great all-around snare that looks as good as it sounds.  Check it out:

Deluxe Cocktail Kit, Burnt Sienna Satin Lacquer

The Burnt Sienna satin lacquer is one of those perfect shades of red and orange, with deep wood undertones.  A rich color that gives a touch of class to any setup from Phatties to Black Labels to Club Date kits to nesting Cocktail Kits.  Today it shows up on a Deluxe Cocktail kit.  Standard features include a 10″x6″ snare drum, 10″x8″ tom, and 16″x24″ cocktail drum.  A beautiful setup that will look at home anywhere, check it out:

Phattie 13″x8″ Hybrid, Blue Glass Glitter w/Black Hardware

This hot little 13″x8″ hybrid was built for our friend, great drummer, and hardcore Phattie fan Dave Irish.  The blue glass glitter edges and black chrome hardware was spec’ed out to match his Phattie kit.  You can check it out here, perfect match!  Solid brass tube lugs, stainless steel hardware, Trick GS007 strainer, Puresound wires, Keller VSS maple, all the standard goodies!  Check it out:
