Series I – The Original

This is the first carved model of snare produced. Each drum featured eight wide staves so no joints were visible in the carving pattern. Each panel between the lugs was a single piece of wood joined together using solid ebony inserts. These drums are exceptional works of art, all the way down to the custom machined art deco style lugs. A limited number were produced from Curly Maple, Rosewood, and Bubinga.

 

Series II – Phattie Logo Style

The original Series II snare, the "Dragon Snare", featured the dragon on one side and Phattie carved into the opposite side. A limited number were produced in Maple, Mahogany, and Bubinga, before the design was retired in favor of matching dragons on both sides of the drum.

Series III – V-Carving

This unique pattern featured an intricate V-carved pattern with integrated placement of the lugs and strainer for a unique look. Series III also featured single-flanged hoops and a thinner style of stave shell, for a more open & vintage sound. A limited number were produced in solid maple, mahogany, purpleheart, bubinga, and birch.
